Crypto Security 101: How to Protect Yourself from Getting Hacked (2025 Guide)

✅ DOs:

1. Use a Secure Wallet

Mas mahirap mahack pag may extra security layer.

3. Write Down and Store Your Seed Phrase Offline

Wag i-screenshot.

Laging i-check ang first and last few characters ng address bago mag-send.

5. Use a VPN on Public Wi-Fi

6. Check URLs Carefully

Scammers create fake sites that look like Binance, Coins.ph, etc.
Make sure the URL starts with https:// at walang mali sa spelling.

❌ DON’Ts:

1. Don’t Share Your Seed Phrase or Private Key

Kahit sinong influencer pa yan, kahit “support team” daw — wag ibigay.

2. Don’t Keep All Your Crypto in Exchanges

Lalo na kung long-term hold.
Exchanges can get hacked (like FTX), so always transfer to your wallet after buying.

3. Don’t Click Random Links

Whether galing sa email, FB message, o TikTok comment — kung mukhang sketchy, wag pindutin.

4. Don’t Download Unknown Chrome Extensions

Some fake extensions are built to steal wallet access.
Always check reviews and the official source.

5. Don’t Fall for “Guaranteed Profit” Offers

Pag sinabi nilang “invest ₱1k, earn ₱5k in 1 day” — scam ’yan 99.9% of the time.
No one can predict the market. Walang magic shortcut sa crypto.

Bonus Tips:

Conclusion:

Secure mo sarili mo ngayon, bro!
